| The Foundation continues to strengthen its historic commitment to the Community Health Centers Movement by: | | |

| Promoting innovative and cost-effective ambulatory health care in the urban community | | |

| Coordinating, collecting, exchanging as well as disseminating, research and public health information; and | | |

| Consulting with and serving as a forum for health care providers, professionals, individuals and industry. | | |

| The MHHC Foundation pursues various avenues of fundraising in order to diversify its financial base, such as endowments, special events, planned giving, direct appeals, corporate and foundation assistance. In order to become more self– sufficient, the Foundation is exploring venture opportunities to earn repeatable and controllable revenues while, at the same time make a sustainable social impact. | | |

| A major aspiration of the Foundation is to establish a management services organization that is able to consult with and provide technical support to healthcare providers. Some programs areas and projects under consideration that will also provide diversified income opportunities are: | | |
| The MHHC University – a training/learning institute for staff, community residents, community health corporations, social service agencies, government entities and foundations. | | |

| A Wellness and Fitness Center that provides complementary health programs. | | |

| Non-medical profit seeking business ventures such as elder care, day care and community development research. | | |

| The MHHC Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors. Friends of MHHC Foundation along with the Board of Directors’ expertise is leveraged to establish and conduct events, campaigns and appeals to raise funds for the organization.
