Provides comprehensive medical services for members of family, regardless of age or sex, on continuing basis; Conducts a program of primary care responsibility for examination, diagnosis and treatment of patients; Elicits history, examines patients, order, performs and interpret laboratory and x-ray examinations, diagnoses and performs or order necessary treatment; Participates in the developmental and implementation of the performance improvement program including the medical record, protocols for the medical management of health programs and an internal medical audit mechanism; Provides medical supervision to the assigned staff or nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistants, medical residents, student and other paraprofessionals.
Medical degree from a medical college approved by the American Medical Association; Completed internship and residency training from an approved medical facility; Two or more years of experience as a Family Practitioner is preferred; Board certified or board eligible by specialty board.
