With limited supervision and broad general direction, performs administrative duties of supervision within all division of the Radiology Department. Responsible for evaluating and maintaining the quality and appropriateness of the Radiology services on a technical level. Possesses knowledge of human growth and development. Able to understand the range of treatment needed by each patient age group.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology, registration by the A.R.R.T
Experience: At least four years work experience, including supervisory experience in Radiology department. Familiar with a variety of Radiology field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent customer communication skills are required for this position. Individual must demonstrate proficiency with communicating on the telephone as well as in writing and must meet MHHC customer service expectation and the overall Service Excellence standards in all facers of the job. Individual must be able to work in a team oriented environment. Motivate and provide effective leadership to Radiology staff.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Language Skills: English, Spanish (Bilingual) preferred. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Certifications/Licenses: Registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) is required.
$30.68- $33.46 per hour (based on experience)
