About Howard

Howard Slomko is a Doctor in Pediatrics. He received his degree of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. He did his pediatric residency at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York. He also did subspecialty training in Pediatric Nephrology at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in Bronx, New York. His professional interests/focus is on renal/kidney disease, asthma, obesity and sports medicine. Prior to becoming a doctor he was a board certified Athletic Trainer and cared for injured high school athletes in Florida. In addition, he represents Morris Heights Health Center at the Bronx Partners for Healthy Communities Asthma Work Group for DSRIP. He practices at the MMHC- Burnside.
