National Community Health Center Week_ Main Event (Burnside)

NCHCW has been celebrated for more than 30 years to recognize the services and contributions of health centers throughout the United States. On Thursday, August 11^th, the streets were shut down for our biggest Health Fair of the year, which was held at our main site on Burnside Avenue. Councilman Fernando Cabrera, Assemblyman Victor Pichardo, and Senator Gustavo Rivera joined MHHC in celebration of the big event. The all day festivities included: an award ceremony for distinguished staff members, a ribbon cutting ceremony, and a huge health fair. Over 30 vendors joined us to provide information, health screenings, free giveaways, food, entertainment and much more. This was our biggest NCHCW event thus far, and we look forward to making it bigger and bigger every year.
